Sourcing local milk with Ran-Lew Dairy

Elon Dining is excited to announce that we have begun to source all of our milk on campus locally from Ran-Lew Dairy. This small-herd dairy is located in nearby Snow Camp, NC, just 3o minutes from campus.

At the dairy, owner and operator Randy Lewis works with a small team to care for, milk, and bottle milk from his herd. Their herd, pasture-raised, is fed grass and high quality, non-GMO silage, and their milk is small batch pasteurized, preserving helpful nutrients and enzymes that are often lost in the industrialized milk industry.

You can find Ran-Lew Dairy milk and chocolate milk both in our dining halls, and in our markets across campus!
